Previously called Molaferm 20, Molaferm is a sweet liquid blend of molasses that boasts an excellent sugar content with the added bonus of rumen degradable protein. It can be used in almost any diet as a source of highly fermentable energy that boosts intake by improving ration palatability whilst also reducing ration sorting.

Molaferm can be added to straw to make a buffer feed that can be used as a straight alternative to Silage.

Storage / Processing

Stores well for up to one year.

Material to have been stored in compliance with DEFRA code of practice for the control of salmonella.

Farm molasses such as Molaferm 20 is available in quantities ranging from a minimum of 5 tonnes up to a maximum of 29 tonnes.

Feeding rates are estimates, and other factors, such as animal health and environment, can have a greater impact on how animals perform. There is no guarantee that animals will perform as expected if fed the suggested rates. Rations should be balanced to provide enough energy and protein for animals, and they should include enough forage to keep the rumen healthy. Animals also need access to fresh water at all times.
