Golden Malt Syrup

Golden Malt Syrup

A cost-effective blend of co-products from the distillery and fermentation industries. Due to cost pressures, many of today's livestock rations are making more use of home grown products such as whole crop wheat, straw, maize silage, wheat, barley and oats. These feeds, however, still require balancing with some rumen degradable protein. Also a source of sugar is useful to balance the starch in the other feeds and help feed the rumen 'bugs'. Golden Malt Syrup provides the perfect solution at a highly competitive price!

An ideal well balanced low cost liquid feed for any farm mixed ration that can be fed in free access lick-wheel feeders, poured on forage or used as an ingredient in TMR rations. This liquid can also be used as a replacer for Pot Ale Syrup.

Did you know?

Golden Malt Syrup is a 100% natural liquid with all the benefits of Scottish distillery syrups including high energy and protein. Ideally suited for those who cannot store 28 tonne full artic loads but wish to take advantage of the extra energy/protein.

Storage / Processing

Stores well for up to one year.

Material to have been stored in compliance with DEFRA code of practice for the control of salmonella.

Feeding rates are estimates, and other factors, such as animal health and environment, can have a greater impact on how animals perform. There is no guarantee that animals will perform as expected if fed the suggested rates. Rations should be balanced to provide enough energy and protein for animals, and they should include enough forage to keep the rumen healthy. Animals also need access to fresh water at all times.
