After dissolving sugars out of the fibrous cane at high temperature, the crystals of sugar settle out as the liquid cools leaving the Cane Molasses, sometimes called "Black Strap", behind. High in bother sucrose sugars and fermentable energy making it an ideal energy supplements and sweetening agent for Dairy, Beef and Sheep rations.
