Storage and Handling

Feedmax can be fed fresh or can be stored in anaerobic conditions. On delivery, the product should be left uncovered for 24 to 48 hours to allow the product to cool and then a cover put over the product. Fresh feeding should take place within 4 weeks. As with other moist feeds, long-term storage by clamping should exclude air, which then preserves the product for over 6 months.

Limits to Usage

Recommended feeding rates for cattle are up to 7kg per head per day ideally mixed with other feeds.
